Tarlac City, Philippines – Senator Bam Aquino graces the opening of the fourth Negosyo Center in his home province of Tarlac that is located at the newly-constructed Municipal Tourism Building of Capas.
In a message, Senator Ban Aquino ensured his outpouring support for the business programs and projects of the Negosyo Center.
“We will ensure every Negosyo Center will have the allotted budget and resources to help starting entrepreneurs in Tarlac,” Bam Aquino said.
“Negosyo Centers seek to help start-up businesses, potential entrepreneurs, and existing Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs),” Department of Trade and Industry Provincial Director Agnes Ramirez indicated. “The Negosyo Centers are supported by MSME development councils, local chambers of commerce, business associations, and academic institutions,” Ramirez added.
Under the Philippine Republic Act 10644 otherwise known as the Go Negosyo Act, a Negosyo Center should be established in each local government unit (LGU) across the country to support inclusive growth and economic development.
The aforementioned center in Tarlac provide business consultancy, capacity building, product design and development, monitoring, and other support services for MSMEs.
Earlier, a similar facility opened in Tarlac City and the municipality of Concepcion and Moncada.
