After the leading consumer electronics retail giant Best Buy, one of the United States major retailer Target also confirmed that it will be offering its customers free shipping service throughout the holiday shopping season, including the highly anticipated Black Friday 2016 sales event.
The bull’s eye retail company announced that popular promotions from the previous year will return in Target Black Friday 2016 sale on Nov. 25, including one of its most anticipated promotions — the “10 Days of Deal.”
As for the free shipping offering, Target will offer the promotion on all orders made online or in-app from October 25th and will last through New Year’s Day, January 1st, 2017.
“Target is at our very best during the holidays, and we’re building on last year’s winning formula to make the 2016 holiday season even better,” Target CEO and Chairman Brian Cornell said in a press release. “We’re elevating and expanding the offers that helped guests save time and money to make the most of their holidays. We’ll also inspire gift-giving, entertaining and decorating with new products and experiences online and in our stores.”
Meanwhile, the red dot’s digital savings app Cartwheel will offer its customers as huge as 50-percent off one toy per day between November 1st and December 24th, and 10-percent discounts Target Gift Cards on December 4th.
There will also be 1,800 new or exclusive toys, from Star Wars collectibles, Trolls, the newest Disney Princesses Elena and Moana as well as 50 exclusive board games and more.
Apart from toys, tech items like the newly released virtual reality headsets including PlayStation VR and VR One Plus, and the Internet of Things (IoT) connected home devices including Google Home will also be offered at Target’s 2016 Black Friday sale.’
The retail giant will also price match any order placed on November 1st throughout December 24th, excluding Gray Thursday through Cyber Week. With all that being said, that’s not such great news for shoppers looking to purchase at Target on Black Friday 2016 sales.
Additionally, other specials and deals include $10 price cup any $50 purchase in a different product category each week — the deal kickoffs in mid-November. In December, Target’s promotion expands to an option which allows customers to save $25 on purchases of $100 or more.
