NE Patriots 2017 Schedule Overview: New England Patriots to finish regular-season with undefeated record?

The New England Patriots’ 2017 NFL regular-season schedule does not look too tough. Here’s a complete list of the New England Patriots’ 2017 schedule.

The New England Patriots’ National Football League (NFL) regular-season schedule for 2017 does not look too tough for a franchise that arguably was better from very first day the schedule was out to the general public than it was months prior, when it clinched the Super Bowl 51 ring. With al that being said, perhaps no schedule would be too difficult for the reigning champions.

New England Patriots, as a defending Super Bowl champions, will be hosting the season-opener. And with this year, the Kansas City Chiefs will be heading to Gillette Stadium on Thursday, September 7 to kick off the 2017 NFL regular season. Here’s a complete list of the New England Patriots’ 2017 schedule.

New England Patriots Schedule 2017

Week 1 Sept. 7 vs. Kansas City Chiefs 8:30 p.m. NBC

Week 2 Sept. 17 at New Orleans Saints 1 p.m. CBS

Week 3 Sept. 24 vs. Houston Texans 1 p.m. CBS

The Thursday Night Football season-opener is the one “TNF” matchup professional American football franchise want to see on their schedules. Not only does it mean the organization is hosting the season opener as a Super Bowl champion, but it means a couple extra days of preparation for the Week 2. In the New England’s case, it means more time before a road game in New Orleans against the Saints, where newly-acquired wide receiver Brandin Cooks will make an early-season return to the gridiron. All that ahead of a Week 3 home game against the Houston Texans, who the Pats eliminated in the post-season playoffs last year. The five-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady might still be sore from that AFC championship game.

Week 4 Oct. 1 vs. Carolina Panthers 1 p.m. Fox

Week 5 Oct. 5 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 8:25 p.m. CBS/NFL Network

Week 6 Oct. 15 at New York Jets 1 p.m. CBS

Week 7 Oct. 22 vs. Atlanta Falcons 8:30 p.m. NBC

Week 8 Oct. 29 vs. Los Angeles Chargers 1 p.m. CBS

The Super Bowl LI rematch was not scheduled as the season-opening game as some fans had hoped. But the New England Patriots probably don’t mind a several weeks of warm-ups before their game against the organization from which they win the title.

Week 9 Bye Week

Week 10 Nov. 12 at Denver Broncos 8:30 p.m. NBC

Week 11 Nov. 19 at Oakland Raiders 4:25 p.m. CBS

Week 12 Nov. 26 vs. Miami Dolphins 1 p.m. CBS

The Patriots’ bye week comes at a pretty suitable time, in the middle of the 201y7 NFL regular-season and before a tough road game versus the Denver Broncos. The Patriots will have a long road trip to Mexico City and a game against the Oakland Raiders, a fellow contender in the AFC. That contest against Raiders, given the location and the strength of opponent, might be the toughest matchup on the Patriots’ schedule.

Week 13 Dec. 3 at Buffalo Bills 1 p.m. CBS

Week 14 Dec. 11 at Miami Dolphins 8:30 p.m. ESPN

Week 15 Dec. 17 at Pittsburgh Steelers 4:25 p.m. CBS

Week 16 Dec. 24 vs. Buffalo Bills 1 p.m. CBS

Week 17 Dec. 31 vs. New York Jets 1 p.m. CBS

The final month of the 2017 regular season for the New England Patriots is a Pittsburgh Steelers game. The Pats’ final road game of the regular-season could come with huge playoff implications.

Every single game on the New England Patriots’ 2017 schedule is winnable for the best team in the league. Considering the impressive offseason moves the franchise made — not including the soon-to-be-selected player in the 2017 NFL Draft — another undefeated slate similar to 2007 season is not an impossible thought.
