The Dallas Cowboys’ 2017 NFL regular-season schedule sets them up well to restate as National Football Conference (NFC) East champions, but it all comes down to concluding the all-new season strong. The tentative preseason division favorites have a better schedule overall, but the final month is especially knotty with three road matchups and three against the 2016 NFL playoff contenders.

The Dallas Cowboys, as well all expected, is a prime-time schedule with six of its 16 contests slated to be played on Sunday, Monday or Thursday nights. As for now, the Dallas Cowboys only have a pair of their games kicking off at early afternoon at 1 P.M. ET.

Dallas Cowboys Schedule 2017 NFL Season

September

Week 1: vs. New York Giants (Sunday, Sept. 10, 8:30 p.m ET, NBC)

Week 2: at Denver Broncos (Sunday, Sept. 17, 4:25 p.m. ET, Fox)

Week 3: at Arizona Cardinals (Monday, Sept. 25, 8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN)

The new franchise quarterback Dak Prescott was unable to lead the Dallas Cowboys past the NY Giants in his rookie year, so the Mississippi State University product gets an immediate chance to make reworks on Sunday Night Football. The Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals are tricky trips west against non-playoff squads longing to bounce back.

October

Week 4: vs. Los Angeles Rams (Sunday, Oct. 1, 1 p.m. ET, Fox)

Week 5: vs. Green Bay Packers (Sunday, Oct. 8, 4:25 p.m. ET, Fox)

Week 6: Bye Week (Oct. 15)

Week 7: at San Francisco 49ers (Sunday, Oct. 22, 4:05 p.m. ET, Fox)

Week 8: at Washington Redskins (Sunday, Oct. 29, 4:25 p.m. ET, Fox)

The Dallas Cowboys should be favored in every contests for October schedule and will be motivated to exact revenge at home stadium after the playoff defeat to the hands of Green Bay Packers.

November

Week 9: vs. Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday, Nov. 5, 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS)

Week 10: at Atlanta Falcons (Sunday, Nov. 12, 4:25 p.m. ET, Fox)

Week 11: vs. Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, Nov. 19, 8:30 p.m. ET, NBC)

Week 12: vs. Los Angeles Chargers (Thursday, Nov. 23, 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS)

Week 13: vs. Washington Redskins (Thursday, Nov. 30, 8:30 p.m. ET, NBC)

The now retired veteran quarterback Tony Romo will be part of this latest November to remember; he will call his first Dallas Cowboys game as a CBS football analyst as the franchise hosts the Kansas City Chiefs, and he’ll also be there for a Thanksgiving homecoming against Los Angeles Chargers. The Dallas Cowboys can dominate the league this month, including the Atlanta Falcons game.

December

Week 14: at New York Giants (Sunday, Dec. 10, 4:25 p.m. ET, Fox)

Week 15: at Oakland Raiders (Sunday, Dec. 17, 8:30 p.m. ET, NBC)

Week 16: vs. Seattle Seahawks (Sunday, Dec. 24, 4:25 p.m. ET, Fox)

Week 17: at Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, Dec. 31, 1 p.m. ET, Fox)

The New York Giants and Oakland Raiders back to back is a quite tough coast-to-coast fixture, likely with major playoff involvements. The Seahawks will be dauntless in their road game at Dallas, while the Eagles is never been easy in winter season.

The Dallas Cowboys’ offense in the most recent season only scratched the surface of what it can do with duo quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott sharing their backfield, and organization’s defense will be better this 2017 NFL regular season, too. That will help them navigate through a daunting slate. At worst, they’ll secure a wild-card berth and return to the playoffs hungry to last longer this year.
